Step 1Add a small amount of Angostura Aromatic Bitters and rotate the glass so that the inside of the glass is completely wet with Angostura Aromatic Bitters. Discard the Angostura Aromatic Bitters left on the bottom of the glass.
Step 2Put ice in a glass and pour dry gin into the glass.
We make the inside of the glass to be used wet with Angostura Bitters and build. A cocktail that was born as an aperitif for a Royal Navy officer. The bitters have a strong bitter flavor, sharp and deep. One of the classic cocktails. Keep the gin well chilled in the freezer and may be made without ice. If made with the same ingredients and steamed, it becomes "Pink Gin".
