Step 1Put the cut lime and sugar in a glass.
Step 2Next, add the mint leaves and mash them gently with a pestle until they are fragrant. Be careful not to mash the mint leaves too much, as they will become too bitter and difficult to drink. Mash the mint leaves to the extent that the bulk of the mint is reduced. Since mint stems tend to be edgy, remove the stems and add only the leaves for a more elegant flavor.
Step 3Fill the glass with ice.
Step 4Pour midori into a glass and stir.
Step 5Finally, pour the soda into a glass to steer.
Step 6Garnish with mint. Garnish the mint leaves on top by tapping them once lightly with the palm of your hand to make the aroma rise.
A green mojito with the refreshing aroma of mint and the rich flavor of melon. The sweetness of melon and the tartness of lime go well together.
